MASS. GOV. PATRICK-LT. GOV. MURRAY ADMINISTRATION TO HOST 19 HEARINGS ON FISCAL YEAR 2011 BUDGET

First public meeting is in Springfield, Dec. 10, Thursday, 5 - 7 pm

Governor Patrick and senior administration officials will host 19 Budget Hearings and Forums across the Commonwealth over the next five weeks to ensure that citizens across the state have input in developing the Governor’s budget recommendations. 

Nancy Snyder, Interim-Secretary of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, will host a public hearing in Springfield on Thursday, December 10.

"We are deeply committed to providing fiscal leadership in these challenging times that is based on our values," said Governor Patrick.  "These forums will help us accomplish that critical goal, as we begin the FY 2011 budget process.”

“These are difficult times for everyone so it is more important than ever to know what residents care about so their priorities can be addressed in the next budget cycle,” said Interim-Secretary Nancy Snyder. “I look forward to listening to their feedback and answering their questions.”
