Kickoff Open Mic night was on Thursday, December 20, with guest featured poet David Surette, who mesmerized, moved and humored the house with his eloquently painted word pictures. 
Our next Open Mic night will be held on Thursday, January 17th, with guest featured poet Nicole Terez Dutton
Nicole was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio.  Her work has appeared in Can We Have Our Ball Back?, 580 Split, Gathering Ground, Folio: A Literary Journal, and the Indiana Review. 
She has received fellowships from Cave Canem and The Writer's Room, and is a 2007 Hurston/Wright College Fiction Award and a 2007 Cave Canem Poetry Prize finalist. She earned an MFA from Brown University and currently lives in Boston. 
 Our February Open Mike will be held on Thursday, February 21 - Feature to be determined. 
Our March Open Mike will be held on Thursday, March 20 (first day of Spring!).  Our guest feature poet will be Regie O'Hare Gibson.
