Raed Andoni's beautifully-crafted documentary showcases the Palestinian musical group Trio Joubran -- oud-playing brothers Sami, Wissam, and Adnan Joubran -- who are pioneers of improvisation with this soul-stirring instrument.

The feature is preceded by shorts by youth from the Contrast Project, Palestine, a human-rights advocacy group.
