FILM DESCRIPTION:
     Master animator Michel Ocelot is at the top of his artistry in this multi-dimensional film with a mythic story line and some of the most luscious colors and textures you’ve ever seen.
     The film revolves around two boys who grew up together, the Arab Asmar, who is dark skinned and brown-eyed, and the French Azur who is light, blonde and blue-eyed. They are brought up by Asmar’s mother but they know that they are destined for a mystical future.
     When Azur is taken away to his destiny as a noble, the adventure begins. From there on it’s an Arabian Nights fantasy full of evil Djinn, enchanted brides and breathless escapes on horseback. The artistry is complemented by a beautiful message of racial equality and peace.
