New-Media Program for Teens

Explore the world of new media in a state-of-the-art digital media studio.  Learn from professional media artists as you develop your own digital media art portfolio.  Classes are fee-based, with scholarships available for Boston public school students.

One-Day 3D Modeling Workshop

Look at the work of artist Anish Kapoor on view at the ICA, and then create the ideal digital space to house his incredible sculptures!  Students will have a tour of the show, followed by a hands-on workshop to use the 3D modeling program SketchUp to design their own virtual museum. 

WHEN:       June 21, 2008, Saturday, 11 am - 3 pm

OPEN TO:     high school students ages 14-18; no prior experience necessary

FEE:             $50; FREE for Boston Public School students.   Required lab fee: $10
